The Ilocos Sur National High School celebrated World Home Economics Day with great enthusiasm and purpose, embracing this year’s theme, “Tackling Consumption for a Better World.” Students and teachers from the TLE department led various activities that highlighted the importance of mindful consumption and sustainable living. From selling diy keychains and bracelets, exhibits, and etc. The celebration aimed to raise awareness on making responsible choices when it comes to food, resources, and energy use—emphasizing that even small actions can create a big impact in building a better world.

By focusing on sustainable practices and wise consumption, the event empowers students to become agents of change within their homes and communities.
